No Rest for the Wicked

We’ve waited two years to get to the final chapter of the story that No Rest for the Wicked began so long ago, but it looks like the wait is now going to be just a little longer. Moon Studios has announced that the long-awaited 1.0 release of the game, which not only marks its early access exit but also its PS5 debut, is now pushed back to March 2027 from its planned October 2026 release.

The studio is planning to use the extra time to polish and improve gameplay systems, the class system, and combat mechanics to ensure that the version we get is its best yet. It’s not all bad news, though, as the Founder’s Pack is now back in play thanks to an extension of its previous July 10 cutoff date. If you’ve picked it up after the tenth of July, you’re going to gain access to all of its benefits that include a cool sword, a secret hideout steeped in the studio’s history, and more.

Preorders for the PS5 version open up in January 2027, while releases of versions on other systems are yet to be finalized. A couple of closed betas are on the horizon before an open one in December, which should give us all a better look at where the game is headed ahead of its release.
