We were delighted to see The Blood of Dawnwalker stick the landing with its launch, wooing critics and players alike with its deep and nuanced take on vampires operating in the human world, selling one million copies in the process. If you’ve been navigating Coen’s many narrative paths through life in Brencis’s iron-fisted rule over Vale Sangora, you might be pleased to know that Rebel Wolves shares your enthusiasm for his story.
Narrative director Jakub Szamalek has taken to LinkedIn to celebrate its success while getting the ball rolling on finding the next instalment’s lead writer, who’s going to be managing the writing team while making significant contributions to whatever’s coming next for our new favorite Vrakhir. What that will entail is anybody’s guess at this point, but we already know the narrative will leap ahead to modern times, and Coen will face some formidable foes even then.
We can’t say more about potential plot threads without wading into spoiler territory on the current game’s ending, but we expect great things from whatever this new saga will throw at us.
