The city itself might be a desolate set of crumbling ruins, but that only adds to its melancholy charm: its streets, walkways, lush foliage, and the sun’s glow. Of course, deadly mutants ruin the view, but the Cinderknights are more than capable of dealing with them now, aren’t they?
Turns out the answer isn’t a simple yes, as the latest developer showcase focused on how you need to prepare every time you accompany Seven on another foray into dangerous and hostile territory as he searches for his missing daughter. It isn’t just your loadout of guns and armor – you’re going to have to think carefully about the type of vehicles you want to be using to make your entry, as that’s a detail that’s going to determine your mobility in engagement zones where the terrain might favor one vehicle type over another.
Combine that with enemy types that need viable strategies to take down, and you’ll probably welcome the option to seamlessly tag along with other players and work through objectives together. It’s interesting to see how all of this blends with the world, but until then, the showcase below is worth a watch.
