It’s really no surprise that the rest of the gaming world shares our high opinion of Square Enix's latest HD-2D role-playing game.

Final Fantasy Resonance

All those Visions of warriors from ages long past have lived up to their promises, as Final Fantasy Resonance has captured the hearts of those who played it.

That includes our colleagues from several popular outlets, all of whom have heaped so much praise on the game that Square Enix collated it all into an accolades trailer, showcasing the game’s lovely visuals and a bit of its action-packed gameplay. We found this one amazing when we spent some time with it before release, and we imagine that many of you are under the same spell now that it’s been out for a little under a week.

Those Visions are part of its charm, but they’re not the only good thing since the combat and progression systems keep you coming back for more. With so much optional content encouraging you to explore every inch of the playable world, it’s easy to see how it’s managed to sneak its way into the hearts of many role-playing game fans.

If you’re on the fence about this one, there’s got to be something about so many people liking the game at the same time, right? We’d encourage you to take the plunge, as this one’s definitely as good as the trailer suggests.
