As if that explosive trailer highlighting everything changing in Year 2’s first patch wasn’t enough, Sonic Racing: Cross Worlds has given us a look at a new Godzilla-themed batch of content in the first DLC expansion of the new year.
Godzilla is coming to City Escape, specifically in the new Godzilla Escape course, which brings a very chaotic twist to the gameplay loop we know and love. You’ll be hard-pressed to avoid the gargantuan beast’s rampage through the city as you try to speed past it. Of course, the game gives you a few ways to tilt the odds in your favor and survive.
For starters, three new vehicles are available for you to drive. We’re very eager to get behind the wheel of the Godzilla Cruiser, but the Mothra Surf isn’t too shabby either. Of course, the King Ghidorah Coupe is one we want to take home thanks to its resplendent paint job and the intricate dragons adorning its front. A new Boost type is also in the trailer that we’ve left below in case you’re interested in getting one for yourself.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, and PC.
