Ben Cousins gives a 26-minute presentation on why game consoles are dying

Posted By | On 13th, Mar. 2012

Now, who is Ben Cousins? Well, he actually works for ngmoco, and yes, it’s a company that makes games for the mobile devices. He recently gave a presentation at GDC where he explained where consoles have a bleak future and will be obsolete soon.

Please check out the video below that shows some of the most intriguing and compelling argument we’ve ever heard on why he believes the consoles are dying. Some of the reasons are straightforward – mobile and tablet gaming on the rise and all that jazz, etc.

He talks a lot and there’s never a dull moment here, and there is a very high chance that whatever he says will turn out to be true.

There is a lot of potential to spark an interesting discussion here, so do tell us what you think in the comments section below.
