Konami confirms MGS HD Collection for Vita

After several rumours that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be making its way to the PS Vita, Konami has confirmed that to be true.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will be releasing on the PS Vita this June. The HD Collection released earlier this year for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, and we reviewed it here, giving it high praises.

The MGS HD Collection features revamped HD versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sond of Liberty, MGS3: Snake Eater and the PSP title, MGS: Peace Walker. The PS Vita version will also include a user interface better suited for the handheld’s control inputs. Which means touch screen controls will be optional. There’s also Trophies included in the game, so Trophymongerers will be happy too.

MGS HD on the Vita will also support connectivity with the PS3 to share data with its console version.

Stay tuned for more updates.
