A Plague Tale: Requiem – PC Requirements Revealed for 1080p/30 FPS and 1080p/60 FPS Settings

A Plague Tale: Innocence surprised almost everyone with its astounding visuals and its level of fidelity when it launched back in 2019, and it looks like its upcoming sequel, A Plague Tale: Requiem will follow suit. And given how gorgeous the game has looked in all that we have seen of it so far, it doesn’t come as a massive shock that on PC, its recommended system requirements are a bit on the high side- though its minimum specs aren’t terribly demanding (for the mast part).

As per the full specs revealed for the game’s PC version by developer Asobo Studio over on Twitter, on minimum settings, for 1080p and 30 FPS gameplay, the game will require either an i5-4690K (3.5 GHz) or an FX-8300 (3.3 GHz), along with either a GTX 970 or a Radeon RX 590. Meanwhile, for recommended settings and 1080p and 60 FPS gameplay, you’ll need either an i7-8700K (3.7 GHz) or a Ryzen 5 3600 (3.6 GHz), along with either a GeForce RTX 3070 or a Radeon RX 6800 XT.

On either setting, you’ll also need DirectX 12, 16 GB of RAM, and 55 GB of free storage space. You can check out the full system requirements below.

A Plague Tale: Requiem launches on October 18 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and for the Nintendo Switch via the cloud. It will also be available via Game Pass at launch.
