We have been able to learn a lot of details about Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown so far, including information about its setting, its characters, as well as the different aircraft that will be in the game. While we’ve already heard and seen lots of the latter, Bandai Namco has now stated that not all of the aircraft that will be in the game have been revealed yet.

When DualShockers asked whether all of the playable aircraft have been revealed, producer Kazutoki Kono stated, “There is more.” Kono-san also revealed that they had created all of the 3D models of the aircraft and basically tried to prioritized working on those aircraft which was popular among the fans. He stated, “For AC7 we have created the 3D models of all the aircraft from scratch. In terms of the amount of work, that was enormous. Basically, what we tried to do was to listen to the fans on what is popular among them, and we prioritized those aircraft, trying to implement as many as possible.”

If your favorite aircraft hasn’t been among what has been revealed so far, there’s still some hope left! It definitely looks like the developers are putting a lot of work into this game ,and hopefully, all of the hard work will pay off.

A release date for the game was finally confirmed quite recently. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is set to release for the PS4 and Xbox One on January 18, and for the PC on February 1. A short new gameplay teaser was also recently shown off- take a look at it through here.
