Over five years on from its launch, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is finally available for the Nintendo Switch. Bandai Namco announced earlier this year that the acclaimed combat flight sim title was headed to Nintendo’s platform this summer, and the game has released now. Check out a launch trailer commemorating the milestone below.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown’s Switch release also packs in all of the game’s post-launch DLC releases in addition to the base experience, giving players access to the entirety of its content. Beyond a single-player campaign that once again takes players to the fictional setting of Strangereal, this time as fighter pilot Trigger, the game also features multiplayer content.

In our review of the game upon its original release, we awarded it a score of 9/10, saying, “Ace Combat 7 is a great time that has enough content and options to satisfy both, newbies and flight aficionados.” Read the full review through here.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is also available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It has sold over 5 million units worldwide. A sequel is currently in development.
