In a recent press release on the Activison Blizzard website, CEO of Activision Bobby Kotick has announced that two new hires, namely Julie Hodges from the Walt Disney Company and Sandeep Dube from Delta Airlines, will be occupying the positions of Chief People Officer and Chief Commercial Officer respectively.

This announcement follows in the wake of the ongoing lawsuit against Activision Blizzard, which is under scrutiny due to allegations of prolonged and widespread harassment and discrimination against employees. With two new leads at the helm in the departments of HR and revenue, Blizzard aims to right its wrongs, so here’s hoping these steps have an actual impact.

Activision Blizzard got under a lot of fire recently, and rightfully so – following a number of allegations such as sexual harassment and discrimination. This DFEH conducted investigation bought to light a number of offenders occupying key roles in the company’s hierarchy, and many of them have now left the company – including Blizzard president J. Allen Brack among others.
