Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is off to a strong sales start since launching on February 4th. The open-world action RPG has sold over one million units in its first 24 hours, a significant leap over the original’s one million sold in two weeks.

The momentum on Steam also continues to build, with over 159,000 peak concurrent players at launch. It’s since reached 176,285 concurrent in recent hours and could rise even further when the weekend rolls around.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It continues the original game’s story with Henry of Skaltiz as the protagonist and ventures into two new maps – the city of Kuttenberg and the Bohemian Paradise. While maintaining the same gameplay fundamentals, it makes numerous improvements – check out our review for more details.

Warhorse Studios has plenty more coming after launch, including free updates like the Barber, Hardcore Mode, and horse racing. Three paid DLC packs are also on the way, the first launching this Summer. Head here for the current post-launch plan.
