Remedy Entertainment has shown off a great deal of new gameplay footage for Alan Wake 2 over recent days and weeks, and with the long-anticipated survival horror sequel now less than a month away from launch, that rollout has continued with more extensive, new footage, courtesy of a recent round of hands-on previews.
Game Informer has uploaded nearly 15 minutes of raw gameplay footage, showcasing a previously unseen location in the Oceanview Hotel. Taking place in the early bits of Alan’s story, the footage sees the writer navigating the creepy, atmospheric hotel, while contending with shadows in tense combat encounters, solving puzzles, exploring the environments, and more. The mix of Remedy’s sensibilities and Resident Evil 2’s style of gameplay is on full display here. You can view it in full below.
Alan Wake 2 launches on October 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It was recently confirmed that the game will feature a Performance Mode at launch.
