Alienation, the next game from Housemarque, the makers of the hit PlayStation 4 launch title Resogun,  will be launching on April 26, the developers confirmed on the PlayStation Blog today. The game will be, like most of Housemarque’s games, a shoot ’em up game, though this new title resembles Housemarque’s older hit Dead Nation more than it does Resogun.

Alienation appears to be the most technically ambitious game that Housemarque have ever attempted. Ilari Kuittinen, one of the founders of Housemarque, was recently quoted as saying, “We’ve always been a tech centric company and now we have the chance to prove our capabilities to the world in our most ambitious project ever”.

Housemarque is available to pre-purchase on the PSN Store starting today. If you buy it now, you will get 10% off on the launch price. Check out the new trailer for the game that was made available on the PS Blog below.
