Aliens Dark Descent

Focus Entertainment and Tindalos Interactive finally provided some gameplay (via IGN) for Aliens: Dark Descent, the upcoming real-time action strategy title set in the Aliens universe. It’s out on June 20th for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Check it out below.

As the commander of a Colonial Marine squad, you investigate an uprising on the moon Lethe that led to an outbreak of Xenomorphs. You can issue commands in real-time and even slow down combat to make tactical decisions. Interestingly, there’s permadeath – if a squad member dies, they’re gone for good.

Thankfully, you can recruit and train recruits, upgrading them over time with five classes, numerous specializations and an arsenal of weapons. Each level is big and open, providing several opportunities to approach objectives. You can set motion trackers and turrets and discover shortcuts key to survival. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay en route to its release.
