Developer Pieces Interactive and publisher THQ Nordic have released a new trailer for upcoming horror game Alone in the Dark, this time around focusing on gameplay. Check out the trailer below.
The trailer gives us a glimpse at the atmospheric third-person gameplay in Alone in the Dark, with protagonists Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood exploring a creepy town surrounded by darkness. We also get a look at some exploration, stealth, and combat in the trailer.
Exploration is an especially big part of Alone in the Dark, going by the trailer, which showcases the protagonist looking for alternate routes through the town in order to avoid a street that seems to be teeming with horrors.
Back in September, a trailer released for Alone in the Dark showcasing the game’s many gruesome monsters that players will have to take on. The trailer featured creature concept designer Guy Davis talking about designing the game’s monsters.
Alone in the Dark is slated for release on January 16, and will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. For more details about the game, check out our interview with THQ Nordic associate producer Andreas Schmiedecker.
