The Koopalings are not Bowser’s children

The Koopalings are well known for obstructing Mario’s path in many levels. For the uninitiated the Koopalings are an elite seven member clan of siblings of Bowser’s minions Mario series. Many gamers over the years, assumed that the Koopalings were in fact Bowsers children, mainly because of the way they looked and acted. However in an interview in 2012 Shigeru Miyamoto stated that the Koopalings are in no way related to Bowser and the only child that Bowser has is Bowser Jr. There’s a shocker if there ever was one.
