Mario

It’s amazing how a simple idea can turn into a revolution that changes an entire industry. Mario originally got his name from the Nintendo office landlord. Nintendo was in their early stages, and as such they were behind with their rent which prompted a visit from their landlord Mario Segsale. Segsale was quite upset at the delay of payment, but America President Minoru Arakawa’s promise that the rent would be paid soon, and Segsale left. The developer then had a doozy of an idea to change to the name of Jumpman to Mario and history was made.
