Frictional Games’ Amnesia franchise has always been something of a fan-favourite when it comes to the survival horror genre, and with its next instalment, it’s looking to deliver another terrifying outing. Amnesia: The Bunker is out towards the end of this month, and as we approach its launch, Frictional Games has released an extensive new video that showcases 10 minutes of terrifying new gameplay footage.
The video starts off in gruesome fashion, offering a glimpse of what the game’s terrifying stalker enemy will have in store for players, and how terribly things will go long if it gets its deadly claws on you. There’s plenty else that follows beyond that as well, with the video showcasing elements like exploration, navigation the bunker through diegetic signposting, the game’s interplay of light and darkness, and much more. By all accounts, it seems to be shaping up to be yet another game that survival horror fans won’t want to miss.
Amnesia: The Bunker is due out on May 23 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
