Anthem is a massive game with an in-depth progression system. In this article we are going to take a look at how you can level up faster, earn XP quickly, reach level 30 and craft better weapons and gear.

How to Level Up and Earn XP Quickly in Anthem?

There are a number of ways you can level up faster and gain experience points in Anthem. Note that leveling up is quite important in Anthem as it is tied to the number of Javelins you can own and how powerful you and your weapons are. XP is awarded for activity and feat completions (basically challenges).

The very first thing you would need to do is complete the story missions in the Anthem. This will not only unlock some good loot for you but you will also earn a ton of XP and level up accordingly.  You also need to invest your time in completing contracts. These can be found in Fort Tarsis and billboards. Furthermore, you can also earn experience points while playing in free play mode and taking part in Stronghold missions.

The video below will show you how you can reach level 30 after you are done with the story mode.

How to Craft Better Gear and Weapons?

Anthem features an extensive crafting system and as you can imagine it’s a crucial feature that will help you inflict more damage to your enemies, and develop more powerful weapons and gear. To begin with, Anthem has three crucial crafting materials: Weapon Parts, Chimeric Alloy and Chimeric Compound. And then there are the four Ember materials which are classified as Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Masterwork.

Weapon parts can be procured from dismantling weapons or you can also get them from containers. You can get Chimeric Alloy and Chimeric Compound if you dismantle gear. Javelin Parts can be obtained from dismantling Javelins (depending on the type of Javelin you will get specific crafting materials). And finally, we have the Embers which are obtained from harvesting.

However, even if you have the crafting materials, you can’t make anything unless you have a blueprint. These come in the form of Rare, Epic, and Masterwork Blueprints. In order to earn them you need to complete the Faction Loyalty Challenges and unlock the Champion of Tarsis challenges, and participate in various in-game activities like Stronghold missions. Completing Faction Loyalty missions will give you access to Weapon Sigils, Ammo Component, Armor Component, Ability Component, Elemental Component, Javelin Abilities for blueprints.

Once you start procuring them, you need to head to the Forge to craft the weapons and gear you need.
