Anthem Will Allow Multiple Characters on a Single Account

What the limit for that might be was not shared, however.

Bioware and EA have gone on the record as saying that you won’t need multiple characters for Anthem, since there’s no classes or abilities that you are locked into- so you can get everything done on one character (known as Freelancers in the game).

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t make more than one character per account, either- speaking on Twitter, Executive Producer Mark Darrah pointed out that you can create multiple Freelancers per account. He never mentioned a specific limit for the number of Freelancers you can have on an account, but it will presumably be as many as there are classes in the game.

Anthem is Bioware’s shared world MMO shooter that is due out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 22 next year. How it holds up in an increasingly crowded genre is going to be interesting to see, particularly with The Division 2 also out in that same window.
