Apex Legends Gaiden

Respawn Entertainment has kicked off the new Gaiden event for Apex Legends. The event will feature 40 new event-limited cosmetics, and the return of the Armed and Dangerous game mode. Check out the trailer below.

The Gaiden event, running from July 19 to August 2, will feature two distinct phases. The first phase, from July 19 to July 26, will feature rewards including Fuse’s Down Thunder Epic Skin, Bionic Buddy Gun Charm, and Epic 3030 “Cloudburst” Skin.

The second phase, from July 26 to August 2, will feature wards including the OK Holospray, 1 Gaiden Event Pack, and 1 Apex Pack. In its entirety, the Gaiden event features 40 event-limited cosmetics, including new Legendary skins for Revenant, Mirage, Octane, and Wattson, along with complementary weapon skins for Flatline, Wingman, EVA-8, and Charge Rifle.

Collecting all 40 event items unlocks the new Prestige Skin for Bangalore—Apex Commander. Perstige Skins are Mythic cosmetic Legend skins with 3 tiers. Once a Prestige Skin is unlocked, players can try and complete challenges to unlock Tier 2 and Tier 3 versions of the Prestige Skin.

The limited-time Armed and Dangerous mode limits players to using only shotguns and sniper rifles, and makes loot overall much harder to find. Armed and Dangerous will be available from July 19 to August 2 in the World’s Edge, Olympus, and Storm Point maps.
