Apex Legends Season 2_02

Respawn Entertainment dropped a bunch of new details for Apex Legends, announcing that the free to play battle royale title will be coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch this Fall.  Furthermore, there will be cross-platform play between Xbox One, PS4, Origin and Steam players in the same quarter. But that’s not all – current players will have a new Collection Event, “Lost Treasures”, coming up soon.

The event sees the limited time mode Armed and Dangerous Evolved being available. Sniper rifles and shotguns only, once again, but this time all armor is EVO Armor. Respawn Beacons have been removed from the map but players will have Mobile Respawn Beacons when the match starts. You can thus choose where to bring back a teammate and when.

There’s also new cosmetics, Mirage’s Heirloom Weapon and a new Town Takeover “Crypto’s Map Room”. This event will provide more information on Crypto and seems to unlock the mysterious bunkers on the map. Lost Treasures goes live on June 23rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
