Apex Legends Season 2_02

Respawn Entertainment’s newest big update for Apex Legends is live. Though initially delayed for consoles, the developer confirmed on Twitter that the update is available for Xbox One and PS4 as well as PC. The update is most noteworthy for the significant changes made to progression.

The level cap has gone from 100 to 500 with the amount of XP required to hit level 100 being 5 percent less. The amount of Apex Packs doled out has also increased to 199 with one pack being provided per level at level 2 to 20. From there, you’ll earn a pack every two levels from level 22 to 300 and every five levels from level 305 to 500.

Gun Charms have also been added with a new one unlocked every 100 Levels. Apex Packs contain a total of 36 Gun charms which can also appear in the shop on a rotating basis. Perhaps one of the more underrated additions is that of friendly fire to the practice range, letting players annoy their teammates.
