Apex Legends - Boosted

Respawn Entertainment continues to ramp up the carnage in Apex Legends with Season 6: Boosted. It debuts a new Legend – Ramya Parekh aka Rampart who wields a mounted turret – and new gameplay elements. Thanks to some new trailers, we get to see the changes made to World’s Edge, upcoming new Battle Pass cosmetics and more.

In terms of abilities, Rampart can deploy Amped Cover which not only provides a place to hide behind but also boosts outgoing damage. She also reloads LMGs faster and can deploy her mounted turret, known as Sheila, to rain death on foes. As for the crafting mechanic, it allows you to collect materials and then visit a replicator on the map to pick up a weapon or item of choice.

World’s Edge has also seen some pretty hefty changes, becoming much more fortified in the process. You an check out how that all shakes down here. Finally, there’s the Volt SMG, another weapon from Titanfall 2 that makes its way to Apex Legends. Stay tuned for more details on Season 6 tomorrow when it goes live.
