Apex Legends’ newest event Voidwalker kicks off today and Respawn Entertainment has released a new short story to set it up. Given the event’s focus on Wraith, it only makes sense that this short would be centered on her. While it starts off with her investigating an IMC Detention Facility below ground, things take a turn for the weird when she meets herself.

As for the in-game event, it will be available for two weeks after going live today. A new Town Takeover will be live on the main map along with a new limited time mode – Armed and Dangerous, which restricts players to sniper rifles and shotguns. There are also new challenges to complete and cosmetics to earn.

The last event for Apex Legends, the Iron Crown Collection event, faced its fair share of blowback. However, the battle royale title continues to chug along. Its next season will reportedly debut the newest Legend, Crypto, along with the Charge Rifle as a new weapon. Stay tuned for more details on the same in the coming days.
