Apex Legends Season 2_02

Here’s something you probably didn’t expect to read about today. Earlier Respawn and EA teased an upcoming event for their popular shooter game, Apex Legends, with something that many fans have requested. It seems that was a solo mode, something that will be available to all players for a limited time later in the month.

As a battle royale based shooter, the focus for Apex Legends is, naturally, in its multiplayer. The The Iron Crown Collection Event will run for two weeks and will allow you to go into a game solo instead of having to squad up with two other players. So now if you don’t care about squading up with strangers, or just can’t get a game going, you can still jump in. Presumably, this is somewhat of a test to see if the mode proves popular enough to stick around on a long term basis.

Apex Legends is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The event will run from August 13th to the 27th on all platforms.
