Embark Studios has released a new trailer for its extraction shooter, ARC Raiders. While the post-apocalyptic future offers many threats, namely the alien ARC, the Raiders outline other challenges encountered on the field – like other Raiders.
However, you’re not always in direct competition. Like The Division’s Dark Zone, you can cooperate with other players and work together. There’s no indicator once they decide to “go Rogue,” so if someone says they’d kill for your jacket, you might want to run.
ARC Raiders is out later this year, but in the meantime, a second technical test starts on April 30th on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. There are more different ARC enemies to fight, new weapons and gear, and the first Battle Pass alongside crafting and progression.
Embark looks to gather feedback on combat, cross-play performance, and progression on a larger scale with this test. Sign-ups are currently available here and the test ends on May 4th. Stay tuned for updates, and check out more gameplay here.
