ARC Raiders continues to be a major contender in the live-service space, and the new update is set to take the story around those mysterious Phantoms forward in part two of the Phantom Targets Project.
Update 1.42.0 is now live, and you’ll find that Shani has more information to track down Topside, as erratically behaving Wasps are swarming towards a single location that’s bound to contain information. Even more curious is that they’re all carrying unidentified tech there. At the very least, that tech could prove to be potent weapons that will come in handy when the next chapter of this project comes along.
But what else lies in wait for Raiders brave enough to investigate? That remains a mystery, but we’re sure it’s going to be suitably dangerous given how hard finding the answers we’re seeking has been. Well, it’s all in a day’s work for the best of us, and it’s onward to whatever threats await us all. A trailer has accompanied the announcement, and it couldn’t have come at a better time as the game celebrates some excellent sales numbers for Q2 2026 and progresses further towards Frozen Trail, the next big update out on October 8th.
