Piccolo Studio’s beautiful narrative adventure title, Arise: A Simple Story, is out today, and the developers have released a launch trailer to commemorate the occasion.

Along with setting up the game’s central premise, it also does a great job of conveying the tone the experience is going for, while showing interesting snippets of gameplay, and a variety of locations from the game. As always, the game’s art design continues to stand out. Take a look below.

In our review of Arise: A Simple Story, we called it “a fully immersive and unmissable experience” and praised it for its “diverse gameplay, beautiful environments, and touching story.” You can watch the full review through here.

Arise: A Simple Story is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but the developers are also open to bringing the game to the Switch. You can get more details on the game in our interview with director Alexis Corominas through here.
