Well this is interesting. Nate Wells, who was an art director at Irrational Games, has joined the Santa Monica-based Naughty Dog – the crown Jewel of Sony world wide studios. Scott Sinclair who was the art director for BioShock 1 has replaced him and is now working on Bioshock Infinite.

“Scott Sinclair, art director of Bio1, back in the art director’s chair for Infinite to bring it home. Can’t wait to show you what’s cooking,” tweeted Ken Levine, creative director and co-founder of Irrational Games.

Wells also revealed his appointment via a tweet. Twitter is damn amazing nowadays.

“In this fall, and this is hard, In this fall, I’m taking my talents to South Beach”..wait..I mean #naughtydog and #thelastofus…can’t wait,” Wells tweeted.

The Last of Us is scheduled to be released next year exclusively for the PS3. Today’s Sony GamesCom conference may have something related to the game, so stay tuned to GB.
