Ubisoft Montreal has released a new video for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag which talks about many of the weapons the pirates used in the old days to engage enemies in combat. This is mixed with gameplay footage, some old and some new, showcasing said weapons in action. Expect lots of flintlock pistol-wielding, swords and explosions because explosions are fun.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will see players taking control of Captain Edward Kenway and his surly band of pirates as they sail the high seas of the Caribbean, plundering as far as the eye can see. They’ll be taking on naval ships, assaulting forts, exploring ancient ruins and assassinating targets to further the regime under the Black Flag.

The game will release on October 29th worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will launch on PC on November 19th/22nd in North America/Europe. The PS4 version will be out on November 15th in North America and November 22nd in Europe, while the Xbox One version releases on November 22nd.
