It’s been a while since Ubisoft unveiled Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and given the fact that we’ve seen nothing of it besides its cinematic reveal trailer, it’s no wonder that fans of the series are getting antsy about getting antsy about the state of its development behind the scenes. Unfortunately, however, it seems like the game has been hit with another internal delay.

That’s as per journalist Tom Henderson, who originally reported in December last year that Assassin’s Creed Mirage was targeting an August launch, and recently took to Twitter and claimed that the game had now been internally delayed into October. This aligns with recent leaks, which claimed that the game had been delayed and was now targeting a release between Q4 2023 to Q2 2024.

If Mirage has indeed been delayed, it wouldn’t be the first time the game has been internally pushed back, if past reports were to be believed. Prior to its alleged August launch window, the open world title was supposed to have been scheduled for Spring 2023, while that window was allegedly arrived at after a delay from February.

In addition to Mirage, as per Henderson, Meta Quest-exclusive title Assassin’s Creed Nexus has also been pushed back by “a couple of months.”

As for when we might see more of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, it’s been claimed that the game will be part of the lineup of games to be shown off at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event, which is set for June 12.
