Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – Cinematic Trailers Tease Mythical Monsters

Protagonists Alexios and Kassandra will face the same dangers threatening Ancient Greece.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Two new cinematic trailers have been released for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Actually, they’re both the same trailer but one features Kassandra and the other Alexios, the protagonists chosen from the game’s outset. Regardless of who you play as, ancient Greece is in danger and it needs an able Spartan to save it. Check out the trailers below.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey doesn’t have your hero starting as part of the Brotherhood of Assassins. Instead, you’re a small-time Spartan mercenary engaged in the Peloponnesian War, while carrying out other tasks on the side. Along with famous icons like Socrates, players will also meet other NPCs and open up a range of dialogue and romance options. Naval combat makes a return as well, with more customization options and crew members with their own perks.

However, what interests us most about the trailers below is that players can actually battle against mythological threats like Medusa. The minotaur is also in the game somewhere, so don’t worry. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out on October 5th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
