Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – Legacy of the First Blade Begins on December 4th

Ubisoft has been fairly coy about a release date for the first expansion of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. However, a recent trailer has announced that Legacy of the First Blade will begin next week. Divided into episodes which drop every six weeks, December 4th will mark the debut of the first episode “Hunted“. Check out gameplay for it below.

There wasn’t much information provided, but it seems that Kassandra/Alexios are still very much playable. They come across the first person ever to wield the hidden blade, Darius, and must discern whether he’s a friend or foe. We’ll need to wait for more details, but so far, more equipment and abilities are definitely on the horizon.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has otherwise had tons of other updates since launching. The level cap was recently increased to 70, a new Mythical Beast was introduced, and new story quests are available in the world as well. What free features will be available to those who don’t pick up the expansion? We’ll have to wait and see.
