Assassin's Creed Pirates

Assassin’s Creed Pirates – the mobile offshoot of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag that focuses purely on naval combat – has received a hefty new update which promises up to five hours of gameplay. Some new screenshots have also been released to showcase what you’re in for.

The update lets you play around in a new map area, provides a new campaign mission with three new side missions and the usual array of treasures and diaries to collect. Two new ships are also up for grabs and a new mission type – Survival Missions – has also been included. Each map will now have a Survival Mission where you’ll be able to fish and hunt for whales. Did we mention battles against epic historical ships?

The update is available now for iOS and Android, and is utterly free. Head on over to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to pick it up and go for a hearty session of ship-wrecking and whaling.
