Assassin’s Creed Shadows has matched its widespread acclaim with an impressive start in terms of player numbers, having pulled in over 2 million players in its first couple of days to reportedly become Ubisoft’s second-biggest launch of all time. The company will, of course, be releasing plenty more content for the already-massive action RPG in the time to come, but before that, its first patch has gone live.
Title Update 1.0.1 is a pretty minor one, with its modest patch notes confirming that it fixes a couple of Photo Mode-related crashes (one each on PS5 and PC), while also making stabilization tweaks across the board. Check out the full patch notes below.
As small as the patch may be, its download size doesn’t necessarily reflect that, coming in at 8.88 GB on Xbox Series X/S, 7.03 GB on PC, and 9 GB on Mac. Meanwhile, the PS5’s decompression tech allows the console to reduce the patch to a size of 1.41 GB.
