Assassin’s Creed Unity Live-Action Parkour Takes to the Rooftops of Paris

With four free runners no less.

Ubisoft has been making a lot of noise about improving the parkour of Assassin’s Creed: Unity and even went so far as to hire a chief parkour officer to ensure the mechanics of future games kept evolving. Now, it’s worked with YouTube parkour star devinsupertramp to create a Unity-centric parkour video. It’s phenomenal to say the least. Check it out above.

Though we’re fairly certain you can’t execute somersaults or back flips in Unity, it’s an incredible chase overall with great camera work. It also hints at several things in Unity, such as how parkouring with your friends will feel like and the overall scale of Paris that will lend chases a more epic, drawn-out feel. Between this and the Rob Zombie short, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is looking better and better every day.

How will the final game measure up though? We’ll find out when it releases on October 28th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
