Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft recently debuted a short gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, showcasing the raids and combat that players can engage in. This is all for the sake of establishing one’s settlement in the Dark Ages. Check out the trailer below and remember that it’s optimized for Xbox Series X.

In a post-trailer follow-up, creative director Ashraf Ismail talked about the benefits of quick loading times on the console. This will help to immerse players in the Viking era, as they raid and pillage while forging alliances. He also re-iterated Smart Delivery support which means purchasing the game on Xbox One will net you a free upgraded version on Xbox Series X.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out this holiday season. It will release for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia and PC. Despite all the epicness, it seems this won’t be the biggest game in the series so if you were exhausted by the enormous world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, rest easy. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
