Atlas Fallen

Following its gameplay reveal of Atlas Fallen, Deck13 has provided more details on the action RPG’s mechanics, enemies, abilities and world. The player utilizes a magical gauntlet to fight against corrupt gods, who have terraformed the world and left it in a sandy state.

In the latest episode of Deck13 Inside, the development team talked about the various enemies, known as Sand Wraiths, and the different abilities that players could use. Utilizing Essence Stones, they gain new abilities, like slowing enemies with AoE fields and destroying projectiles. You can also air dash, block attacks with a Shield and raise massive structures to progress.

The world is also interesting, with some humans siding with the gods while others build safe havens underground to survive the Sand Wraiths. Many people don’t have names and are identified by their roles (like Cook).

Atlas Fallen launches on May 16th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. While playable solo, the entire campaign supports co-op for two players. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
