Square Enix's action RPG is available exclusively on PlayStation 5, while a PC version is also currently in development.
Players who purchase the standard edition – which costs $70 – cannot access the RPG's New Game Plus mode.
As the studio shifts away from a seasonal model for Halo Infinite content, it confirms it also has new projects in the works.
Going forward, the game will adopt an Operations model for new content, similar to The Master Chief Collection.
Its concurrent users peak is the 6th-highest to date in the history of Steam, overtaking the likes of Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy.
It has surpassed the all-time concurrent player peaks of the likes of Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto 5, Valheim, and more.
Pieces Interactive's survival horror reimagining is due out in March for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
"Changing market conditions necessitated adjusting the scope of several Behaviour projects," the company says.
"The legal filing was simply an initial formality, and Remedy and Take-Two continue to work together in partnership," a Remedy rep has said.

The action-adventure game's remastered release features a number of new additions, including a roguelike survival mode.
MachineGames is using id Software's proprietary engine once again, as it did for all Wolfenstein games it has previously released.
The game will feature "a dynamic mix of linear, narrative-drive gameplay and open-area maps," according to an official description provided by Bethesda.

Though the camera will occasionally pull back (like in cutscenes), the majority of the game will be played in a first-person perspective.
The likeness of Harrison Ford is being used, but Baker – known first and foremost for his role as Joel in The Last of Us – is playing the character in the game.
The action-adventure title will be primarily a first-person game with third-person elements sprinkled in, and will be set between the first and third Indy films.
