Since its announcement in December 2022, we haven’t heard much about Death Stranding 2 from Kojima Productions or Sony, though it seems that’s about to change soon.
Prominent leaker billbil-kun has claimed in a report published on Dealabs that the next Death Stranding 2 trailer is coming soon, within the next 15 days. The leaker speculates that the trailer could be part of the rumoured upcoming State of Play presentation, which would also align with an image of director Hideo Kojima that surfaced a few months ago, showing him in the process of editing a trailer for a State of Play.
In fact, the next time the game is showcased, its full title will also allegedly be announced. When it was announced at The Game Awards in December 2022, Death Stranding 2 was confirmed to be a working title, and according to billbil-kun, the game’s official title is going to be Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
Not much has been revealed about the game so far, but we do know that actors Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, and Troy Baker will be reprising their roles from the first game, while Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna will also be joining the cast.
Death Stranding 2 is in development for PS5.
