Massive Entertainment’s second paid story DLC for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Secret of the Spires, has a release date. It’s out on November 26th, and according to a tweet, players will venture to the Spires of the Clouded Forest with its extensive mountains.
“Epic” aerial battles await, potentially meaning new features or enemy types for your Ikran to tackle. Based on the season pass trailer from last year, the new location is located in the Western Frontier and features various canyons to navigate. Players will also have to deal with the fallout of the RDA’s mining, which seemingly threatens the peace.
Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming weeks, but hopefully, Secret of the Spires will turn out better than its previous DLC, The Sky Breaker. We gave it a six out of ten in our review, praising the visuals, soundtrack and performances while criticizing the overall narrative, enemy variety, lack of new skills, and short runtime.
