Skyrim – FXAA
FXAA, like all of these effects, are preference based. Developers use FXAA often as an option to remove jagged edges and polygons while playing video games. With FXAA turned on, the effect blurs these polygon edges in hopes to remove any jagged unshaped lines. Again, with FXAA it comes down to preference, just take a look at the image above to spot the difference between when FXAA is on and off. Personally, I dislike the blurred edges; it looks as if objects were smeared rather than having those defined lines even if they become jagged during gameplay.
