Dying Light: Film Grain

Some effects are better left in films and the grain filter is one of them. The film grain effect tries to deliver a cinematic experience by adding those little grainy visuals on the screen. Take for example Dying Light. Set in a tropical area, you would expect to see lavishing lights that tailor nicely to those deep blue oceans. Unfortunately, developers went overboard with the film grain effect making the gameplay look awful in the eyes of several players. Unfortunately there are no options within the menus to turn off the film grain effects but if you’re a PC gamer then there are a few workarounds.
