You can kill Wrex in Mass Effect 1 and 3

Wrex is probably the coolest teammate on the Shepard’s team; he is awesome in battle and has a quick temper that almost rivals Kratos. In Mass Effect Shepard has the option to kill Wrex in Virmire. Wrex is deeply concerned with the fate of his people after the genophage, and discovers that Saren has a cure for the genophage in the factory.  Wrex becomes furious that Kirrahe wants to destroy the cure and storms off. Shepard has the option of killing him, in order to proceed with the mission or talk him down. However if you managed not to kill Wrex in Mass Effect  he will play a major role in Mass Effect 3 as the leader of the Krogan. Shepard has a choice to either fake the cure so that the Krogan won’t be a threat, in doing so Wrex finds out and confronts Shepard and attempts to kill him, in which Shepard throws him out the window.
