The teaser trailer for ME3, wherein a lone sniper is hunting Reapers, is Major Coates
When Mass Effect 3 teaser came out, everyone was blown away and also wondered who the man in the clock tower was, many speculated it’s a new team member of sorts. Of course while playing the final stage of the game, we come to realize that the man in the tower was Major Coats, who was stuck there and was sniping from Big Ben for three days to protect civilians. Interesting fact : In a video analysis of the ending, Major Coat’s head can be found in the Citadel, when Shepard gets beamed up, this in all likely-hood tells us that he is dead by the end of the game.
