Following a Back 4 Blood PvP showcase yesterday, developer Turtle Rock Studios hosted a QnA session to answer any questions that fans might have about the game. Answered by Turtle Rock Studios’ executive producer Matt O’Driscoll on video, fans got to know about the inclusion of split-screen and aim-down sights.

Back 4 Blood wouldn’t feature a split-screen option at launch, which might be disheartening for fans considering games like It Takes Two and A Way Out have done wonders in reinvigorating interest in the genre. Plus, aiming down sights would also be optional, as fans wanting the game to be resembling of Left 4 Dead have options to do that. The widespread usage of the ADS mechanic has been stated as the reason for its inclusion, which isn’t bad by any means.

More questions have been answered in the video which you can check out below (around the 5:41:00 mark). Back 4 Blood will be launching later this year on October 12th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC with a Day 1 Game Pass release.
