Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood successfully launched last month with over six million players but that’s only the beginning. In a new roadmap on Twitter, the developer outlined free content updates and paid expansions for the coming months. Quality of life improvements and bug fixes are slated for this month.
In December, new Supply Lines, a Ridden Practice Area and a holiday seasonal event will go live. This is in addition to features like solo offline with campaign progression, brand-new cards and a new card type. In 2022, a new difficulty, new player and corruption cards, updates to melee and a new co-op mode will release.
Next year also marks the launch of the first major paid expansion which is called Tunnels of Terror. Expansions 2 and 3 are also slated for 2022 but are still unnamed. New Cleaners, Ridden, weapons, cards and a new activity type will be added in the expansions among other content.
Back 4 Blood is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review for it here.
