Turtle Rock Studios, the developers of the co-op PvE and PvP zombie shooter Back 4 Blood, recently did a Reddit AMA with the community, which covered a variety of topics revolving around the game to kick-start the year with.

The Reddit AMA was helmed by the studio co-founder and the game’s creative director Phil Robb, and covered a variety of topics, including some new information related to new content and the state of the game. When one fan asked if the new characters releasing in the future will be free or tied to season pass, Robb confirmed that any new character releasing for the game will be tied to DLC. However, characters can be purchased individually, so buying the season pass for the same will be optional.

Additionally, fans also inquired if there will be future PvP game modes coming to the game, to which Robb said that  that nothing is planned for the same as of now. Regardless, more card decks and weapons are already in the works and will be coming soon, and the team is actively looking into additional QoL changes to the game. There are tons of other information drops in the original Reddit AMA, so you might want to have a look.

Moving on to some other news in regards to Turtle Rock Studios, the studio was recently acquired by Chinese mega corporation Tencent. To know more Back 4 Blood, you can read our review, where we praised the game for its replayability, among other things.
